11 Fortnite Creative 2.0 maps you should try right now

After a long wait and many delays, Unreal Editor for Fortnite and Fortnite’s Creative 2.0 is finally real and wild. Of course, we’re still in the early days of this process, with most creators just getting started with the new UEFN tools. But Epic gave some creators access to the tools early on, and they also put together a few demos of their own Creative 2.0 technology to show off what UEFN can do–so we have Several maps are available for you to try out right now.
Again, though, we’re still in the early days of this. So you won’t find anything too confusing. Most of what we have for you today are simply nicer, cleaner, and better versions of what people have been building in Creative mode for years: death maps personal, competitive Cookie Clicker style game and fancy Color Shift map. With much higher memory limits and the ability to include custom content, these old modes feel fresh again.
But we also got a look at the greater potential of Creative 2.0, such as some 2D backgrounds, a preliminary reconstruction of the original Battle Royale Chapter 1 island, and a few demos from Epic featuring The graphics are much better than what we’ve had in Fortnite before.
Unfortunately, nothing created in UEFN offers XP in battle, but it’s still worth seeing what Epic hopes is the next big step towards its metaverse vision. Below you’ll find all the new UEFN maps that we think are worth checking out for at least a few minutes. Honestly, there was more than we expected, and that’s a very good thing.
