Toyota on Friday morning revealed that it plans to push plug-in hybrid electric range exceeds 120 miles. With the redesign Prius Prime to 44 miles and the RAV4 Prime at 42 miles, which would be a big change in packaging compared to the current PHEV.
Kia earlier this week has increased its EV targets—up to 1.6 million EVs annually by 2030, up from the 1.2 million EV target for 2030 announced last year. That includes a line of future purpose-built electric vehicles, among them robotaxi.
Lyft has announced a major expansion of it Private ride-hailing service for EVs and hybrids service. Called Gren mode, it adds $1 per ride with the aim of increasing the number of trams in the fleet.
