15 cars with the worst dealer price increases, up to $17,000 over MSRP


Nearly three years after the global pandemic, some of the effects of the virus are still raging, including high prices for

On average, dealers are asking 10% more than MSRP for
new vehicle, according to a recent study by car shopping website iSeeCars. Compare that to pre-pandemic times, when salesmen would offer massive discounts to move cars out of their lot.

But that’s not the worst of it. The analysis shows that some of the most popular car models are being listed for up to 24% more than the suggested price.

That means if you want a hot car like the Jeep Wrangler, Porsche Cayenne or Ford Bronco, you’ll need to shell out thousands – sometimes close to $17,000 – more than these brands think their cars are. they are worth it.
