16-year-old accused of killing his grandmother after husband found his 64-year-old wife dead
On Wednesday night, the Harris County sheriff responded to a medical emergency at Vickery in northeast Harris County. Deputies say a man called 911 after finding his wife dead with multiple stab wounds as he returned home from work.
The woman who died has been identified as Delia Arriaga. In the initial ABC13 report, investigators told reporter Courtney Fischer that it was unlikely the killer had forced them inside. That detail left the question answered: Did Arriaga let her killer in because she knew them?

Investigators said forensic evidence from the scene led them to their 16-year-old nephew as Arriaga’s killer, but have not revealed a motive.
Arriaga is already a wife and mother of 7 children, 3 biological children and 4 stepchildren. She is a 15 year old grandmother and a three year old great-grandmother.
The teen was charged with murder and was transferred to Harris County juvenile probation.
