Summer makeup and beauty trends in 2022
Make an artist Sandy Linter, who has worked with models and celebrities since the 1970s, understands the cyclical nature of trends. She also has a keen eye for what’s remarkable. Earlier, Linter shared her predictions for the summer beauty trends and looks that will be everywhere this season.
“Makeup looks will continue to be trendy and great in the summer of 2022,” says Linter. “Y2K influence favors a everything happens makeup approach. ”
Double eyelid eyeliner
Linter: I just discovered a great Chanel creme shade that I can line under my eyes, instead of the usual black pencil. You can apply a creamy gloss with an angled liner brush and use it on the top cover, in addition to your usual liner.
There is a lot of testing going on. Billboard Music Awards has the best makeup. Doja Cat looks great and is very new. Megan Fox also looks amazing — the heavy pads are like a throwback to the 1970s. Liners play a huge role in makeup. Find the theme that works best for you and use it.
Earthy Shades
Linter: Expect lots of shades of gold and pink. In fact, any shade can be used as an eye shadow, with the exception of the usual colors, blues, and greens (use those shades on your nails instead). Earth tones are always in style. The Chanel 226 Tisse Rivoli shade set with ombré tones and highlights is perfect for a natural yet angular look. I say, don’t hesitate to try something new.
Emerging makeup brands to try
Linter: Trinny of London. For summer travel, they have a great way to stack eye, lip, and cheek color in small pots. The youthful, stylish shades are easy to use.

A little texture
DeBolt: Long shaggy textured layers, textured bobs and wavy layered long middle cuts with wavy bangs. It’s all about natural textures!
Bye bye Waves
DeBolt: People are slowly moving away from the beckoning beach. We are seeing more natural hair waves and movements.
Microphone Accessories
DeBolt: This summer is all about tiny bows — even microscopic ones — and delicate ribbons. They’re a great way to dress up an outfit this summer in a subtle and super chic way.
Strong Strawberry
DeBolt: We are love All versions of strawberry blonde in my salon. It’s actually a trend we’ve seen since the pandemic with blondes. There are many versions of these red tones to customize the color to anyone’s wishes and needs as well as match their skin tone, eye color etc. You can really create an effect. art products.
Wet look
DeBolt: I love this trend! Pairing a red or bold lip with a wet look is great for an evening out. My favorite products to use for this shiny look are Sebastian wet gel or R&CO motorcycle gel.

Summer skin care and beauty trends in 2022
As the lines between beauty and skincare continue to blur, more and more people are using their morning routine to achieve the radiant look they crave today, rather than simply swiping. on highlighter. For happy skin tips in the summer, we’ve clicked Terri Bryant, celebrity makeup artist and founder of Guide Beauty, Linda Wangfounder of Karuna Skin, and founder of The Beauty Chef Carla Oates.
Skiingism
Bryant: Regarding the treatment, we are re-pairing and simplifying. When we overload our skin with excessive ingredients and treatments, we are more likely to develop skin sensitization. We’re focusing on hydrating, soothing, and balancing treatments instead of more aggressive “anti-aging” peels, plucks and scrubs.
For natural light
Oates: It’s important to choose topical skin care products that are naturally sourced and truly nourish your skin. Many people don’t realize that your skin has its very own microbiome – it’s also our body’s first line of defense. Products that strengthen the skin’s natural barrier are sure to help promote a radiant glow. My favorite at the moment is GLOW FACE, which is packed with powerful active ingredients but also contains a unique fermented prebiotic and postbiotic extract that literally nourishes skin.
King: For a “glow” after applying moisturizer, try dabbing some oil on your cheekbones as a highlighter! My favorite is our Multi-Tasking Face Oil.
Green skin care
Bryant: I love Powerella’s “whole body” holistic approach to beauty and wellness. Their Hydro-Greens Gel Serum is a superfood blend for the skin. The formula is filled with clean plant-based actives like spirulina, turmeric and MSM, which is a vegan collagen activator. It also has over 90 additional free radical-fighting botanicals and minerals. It’s like a drop of green juice and my skin will drink it!
Natural alternatives to injectionsS
Oates: I think any natural alternatives to injections will continue to gain momentum – so things like skin massage and acupressure, Gua Sha instruments, acupuncture needles, and LED lighting, it’s all delivers great results without the need for more invasive procedures.
The most famous beauty ingredients of summer 2022
Prickly pear everywhere
King: Be sure to keep an eye out for any products with Prickly Pear! It has excellent soothing properties and also helps to visibly improve the overall tone and texture of your skin.
Bet on Bakuchiol
Oates: Bakuchiol is definitely a standout! Touted as a natural alternative to retinol, this incredible ingredient has been shown to improve skin tone and improve hyperpigmentation. It minimizes the appearance of wrinkles and increases skin firmness. And unlike retinol, it doesn’t cause irritation or sensitization. There is also promising evidence that it can make skin less sensitive to the sun, which is great news for vitamin A fanatics!
