I think we can all imagine what a dirty smell means, but what about a clean smell? It’s a more elusive concept, as there are so many different interpretations of what clean smell means. For me, cleanliness is the smell of freshness laundry walking straight out of the dryer, an empty street just after a rain, or a bright morning, fresh citrus.
However, I think the most important thing about a clean scent is that you know it when you smell it. Me Obsessed with the scent, and I have a lot of scents that I have in mind as “clean scents” that I revolve around my collection. Their biggest similarity is that these scents always make me feel fresh and new – like a blank slate. I wear them when I want to feel like giving myself a fresh start.
