The Edmonton Police Department is investigating what led to a collision between a pickup truck and a van that sent three people to the hospital on Monday.
Police told Global News a collision in the area of 116th Avenue and 86th Street was reported to them at 4:12pm
They said the driver of the pickup truck suffered serious, life-threatening injuries and that the driver and a passenger in the truck suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
Police have provided preliminary details of the T-bone collision, including whether they believe drugs or alcohol may have played a role in the collision.
Police said they expected the scene to be cleared by 10pm
