A few months ago, Ford announced the return of the Splash pack for the year 2022 forest ranger. That message also hints at limited run versions. Now the company has revealed them with availability details and color plans.
The first version to come out will be the Snow Edition, and it’s exclusive to the Strong Party trim level. It is painted in a light gray color called avalanche with accents matching the body color in the grille. Black leather interior with carbon fiber panels and gray stitching. The Snow Edition will be the most widely available with 750 models to be built and they will go on sale this spring.
Next in the summer will be the Forest version. This car will be based on XLT trim and finished in Forged Green with red grille accents. Basically, it has the same interior as the Snow Edition, but in fabric instead of leather. Only 500 examples of Forest Edition will be built.
Finally, in the fall, there’s the Sand version. It’s another XLT with a similar interior, but it’s painted desert sand with red accents. It is also limited to 500 pieces.
Each of these limited editions is sold as a pack for one Ford Rangerand the package cost is $1,495. And if none of that suits your style, you can always get a regular Splash with a striped pack and orange accents for the same cost of the pack. It also won’t be limited to short production runs.
