The new one Nissan Z are marking.
Nissan gave us our first look at its high performance Race car Z Nismo ahead of its race debut at the Fuji 24 Hour Circuit at the Fuji Expressway on June 4 and 5.
It has yet to confirm specifically what modifications have been made to the racer and its outputs, but under the bonnet is expected to be a remake of the 3.0 twin-turbo V6. liters of the road car.
For context, the Z’s twin-turbo V6 produces 298kW of power and 475Nm of torque.
This fetched engine is expected to be paired with some form of a sequential transmission, rather than the six-speed manual and nine-speed automatic options available on the Z for the road.
From what can be seen in the photos uploaded to Nismo Japan’s website, these Z Nismo racer additions include a red front tow hook, bonnet clamp and NACA ducts, roll cage , grooved brake discs and large rear spoiler.
This Z Nismo racer seems to be the car quickly shown in a video was previously uploaded to YouTube by R Gelan in April 2022.
Nissan will enter the two riders into the NAPAC Fuji SUPER TECH 24 Hour Race at Fuji Speedway in the ST-Q class, which is a class for specially developed vehicles approved by the Super Taikyu Series and is non-competitive.
Other vehicles that have previously competed in this ST-Q class are Toyota Corolla has been modified for use hydrogen combustion engineas well as a Mazda 2 modified to use biofuels.
The two teams that will be driving these Z Nismo riders are Nismo himself and another Japanese team called Max Racing now also racing a modified race Nissan 370Z in Super Taikyu races.
Nissan said in a press release translated from Japanese to English: “We will train the car through an extreme 24-hour race and aim to develop an exciting race car suitable for Z”.
It’s possible that a road-going flagship Z Nismo could pay homage to this racing car by sporting some enhancements to its aesthetic.

Instead of June, the rear-wheel drive sports car will arrive in Japan in the Northern Hemisphere summer sometime between June and August 2022.
Nissan Australia has not confirmed whether supply issues will delay the arrival of the Z.
When it arrives, Z will initially be offered in two trim levels. Buyers can choose between a six-speed manual or a nine-speed automatic, while all models come with a mechanical limited-slip differential and a launch control system.

Several undisclosed Z Proto Spec models based on the original prototype will launch.
It adds 19-inch bronze forged alloy wheels, yellow brake calipers and interior accents, and is available in Ikazuchi Gold body color with a Super Black roof.
