The first way to distinguish the GV60 is with its powertrain. With this button activated, the GV60 transforms into a rocket even more (especially fun when merging on hilly highways) and the initial throttle feel is even noticeably more responsive.

Genesis says there’s a theoretical limit to how many times you can press the button in quick succession, as the components heat up. But in the name of science, I pressed the button six times in a row for a minute of refreshing fun, and the GV60 didn’t even blink. It was also a hot day in Austin, mid-’90s, but that didn’t seem to matter. The system also doesn’t intelligently activate acceleration if you press it while not on the gas, so if you press the button while decelerating in an angle, your 10 seconds won’t kick in until you go back to the station.
