That published pricing information for 2023 Seltoscheapest member among crossovers and SUVs. The soft-road car enters the third model year on the market with a slight price increase across the board, a quieter cabin and a few extra tech features.
Front- and all-wheel drive are available, but the surprising entry point into the range is coming with four-wheel drive. Called the LX AWD, it costs $24,135 including a $1,295 destination fee. Meanwhile, the 2022 LX AWD is priced at $23,845 with a destination fee of $1,255.
Pricing for the entire range is as follows:
- LX AWD: $24,135 (up $290 from 2022)
- S FWD: $24,185 (up $140 from 2022)
- S AWD: $25,685 (up $140 from 2022)
- EX AWD: $27,435 (up $290 from 2022)
- Nightshade AWD Edition: $28,335 ($290 more than 2022)
- SX AWD: $29,635 (up $300 from 2022)
Kia added that they made 2023 Seltos quieter than the 2022 model, although it has since ceased to provide details. It also notes that Blindspot-Rear Collision Avoidance (BCA-R) and Rear Cross Traffic Avoidance (RCCA) are now standard on both S grades.
In addition to these improvements, the Seltos enters the 2023 model year unchanged. The LX, S, and EX models come with a 2.0-liter Atkinson four-cylinder engine that makes 146 horsepower and 132 pound-feet of torque. Choose Nightshade version (which one join the lineup in 2022) or the range-topping SX offers a turbocharged, 1.6-liter four-cylinder making 175 horsepower and 195 pound-feet of torque. While the 2.0-liter engine is connected to a continuously variable transmission (CVT), the 1.6-liter engine benefits from a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission.
