I’ve been writing about beauty for about 15 years, and one of the biggest benefits of being a beauty editor is that I get to try some of the most amazing makeup and skincare products, from classic red lipstick arrive mask problem. Years and hundreds (or even thousands?) of products later, I still find it a really interesting and fascinating way of making a living on this earthly plane. (Shoot away, imagine if I could go back in time and tell the 6-year-old version of me who put on pink lipstick for the school photo day that I would do this like a grown-up job!)
Any beauty writer or editor will tell you that testing all kinds of cosmetics will help you know which products are really worth your money and which are terrible value. . overhyped. Of course, everyone is different, so a fancy, super-thick face cream my beauty team claims can be hell for my oily, acne-prone skin. However, I’ve always been curious (read: nosy) to find out what cosmetics my cosmetic colleagues are using, so if you feel the same way about me that’s it. your lucky day!
