24 Morning Habit Ideas Successful Women Swear

I have always had a love-hate relationship with articles that say “5 things successful people do every morning”—if not that literal headline, it would. Like many people, I love and cherish to click on them. (I also want to be successful and I want all the morning routine ideas that will help me get there), but I am often disappointed with what I find. Mainly because it’s always the same. Successful people wake up early after sleeping for at least seven hours, they exercise, resist the urge to drink coffee before water, and never when Reach out to their phone first thing. (The riskiest move might be Oprah’s rebellion against the alarm clock.) I never understood that I really know what successful women do by 7:30 a.m.

Every time I click on one of those headlines, I hope for resoluteness. Especially when it comes to successful women, those with early morning brooding energy often have to be allotted to a family other than themselves. How do they find calm in the chaos? Sure, ideally they slept well, but what else do they do to recharge before heading out into the world?

However, I did find a corner of the Internet that paints an authentic portrait of an aspiring woman’s morning: “Wake Up Call.” Now, before you accuse me of self-promotion, here is the Camille Styles series that I adored long before I became a contributing writer, and continue to devour as a writer. a remote reader. From my interview with my beauty editor, Megan O’Neill to the piece that made me a lifelong Brooklyn Decker fan, I’m always excited to see what women will inspire. what’s next.

The puzzle pieces are a treasure trove of small, fascinating details. Good examples: the incredibly complex smoothie recipe that Catt Sadler makes most mornings, Miranda Kerr’s work attire or Tata Harper’s well-balanced diet. And if you read each and every Wake-Up Call carefully, you’ll realize the interesting things each woman does with her early morning hours. So, because of my love of the series and my addiction to the sayings “successful people do first thing in the morning”, I decided to choose Wake Up Calls to create my own version of it. me — a version that will hopefully make you a little more satisfied.
