Out of all the trends that have emerged for fall-winter 2022, these are Aesthetically beautiful and extremely feminine which I can’t seem to get out of my mind. Brands like Miao Miao and 16Arlington sent a wave of pastels down their fall/winter 2022 runway and have managed to capture the hearts of fashionistas everywhere—myself and fellow editors included. And retailers are paying close attention. While pastels aren’t usually the thing that dominates the fall market, that’s all I can spot as I flip through the new arrivals pages. As someone who isn’t usually attracted to pastels, I’m pairing the look with my more edgy fall pieces.
The retailer discussed today happens to be J. Crew, and the preppy brand’s womenswear group has completely caught on to fall’s biggest trend.
