4 Mustang GT500s stolen in movie-like theft at Flat Rock factory



Police in Michigan are still looking for a pair Ford Mustang GT500It was among the four Sundays stolen from the Flat Rock factory that built the model. Police recovered two of the cars taken during the theft.

No word yet on how the thieves found their way into the factory, but the way they got themselves and the four cars out is worthy of an action movie. Citing police sources, Michigan-based newspaper site The News-Herald wrote that one in four cars was sacrificed to get through security, although video from the site surveillance cameras is not available or has not been released. If this technique sounds familiar, it could be because eight new Ram 1500 pickups stolen in 2018 from a factory in Warren, Michigan, by ramming a tree through a gate.

The police recovered two of them stolen cars after the theft; both were empty, and one is believed to have suffered severe damage to its head. The other two cars are still as large as written. They are described as being painted with “Black Belladonna”, which does not appear on the Ford color board. Anyone with information about the theft and/or whereabouts of the vehicle is being asked to contact the Flat Rock police department.
