4 new COVID-19 cases reported in Guelph, 18 active cases
Guelph’s public health unit reported four new cases of COVID-19 in the city on Monday for a total of 5,157 cases.
The latest data, covering Friday through Monday morning, shows Guelph has 18 active cases, with 10 new recoveries.
The total number of resolved cases stands at 5,094, while the city’s number of 45 deaths remains unchanged.

Fifteen new cases were reported in Wellington County on Monday, bringing its total to 2,163.
Active cases are 35 with 15 recoveries reported. The death toll in the county remains at 38.
Across Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph, three cases are being treated in hospital, including one in intensive care.
There are six confirmed cases out of five public and Catholic schools in Guelph and Wellington Counties, including three at Waverley Drive Public Schools, where the outbreak is ongoing.
The University of Guelph says there is one case of COVID-19 connected to the campus.

Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph Public Health said 86.7% of eligible residents – those turning 12 in 2021 or older – have been fully immunized, while 88.9% have received a single dose of the vaccine. ask for.
In Guelph, 92% of eligible residents are fully immunized and 94.2% partially vaccinated. In Wellington County, 79.4% were fully immunized and 81.2% received a single dose.
