41-year-old man incarcerated at State Penitentiary dies | Crime and the Court
According to the Department of Correctional Services, a 41-year-old man who has been incarcerated at Nebraska State Prison since 2017 has died.
Atlee Mosemann is serving a 16 to 20-year sentence after he was found guilty of second-degree sexual assault on a child in Hitchcock County.
Mosemann’s cause of death has yet to be determined, but he is being treated for an unspecified medical condition, according to a news release.
A grand jury will conduct an investigation into Mosemann’s death, as required by state law.
