1. Cost of clean fuel: New federal regulations designed to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from gasoline and diesel will add 13 cents to the price per liter at the pumps by 2030.
2. Autumn Enhancement: The National Advisory Committee on Immunization recommends a booster shot for some Canadians this fall, before a possible future wave of COVID-19.
3. Fewer flights: Air Canada plans to reduce its flights during July and August, as the airline addresses a “customer service shortfall”.
4. Rape Shield Law: Canada’s Supreme Court will rule on extending the federal government’s anti-rape law four years ago.
5. Tragedy ShootingA 20-year-old woman was fatally shot Wednesday night while she pushed her 3-month-old daughter in a stroller in New York City, police said.
