A 75-year-old inmate on the Nebraska State Penitentiary died at a Lincoln hospital on Monday, based on the Nebraska Division of Correctional Providers.
Marvin Lovette had been incarcerated on the Lincoln facility since 2006 after he was sentenced to 46 to 62 years for first-degree sexual assault of a kid and youngster abuse, based on a division information launch.
Lovette’s costs originated in Corridor County.
A grand jury will examine Lovette’s dying. State statute requires an investigation into each in-custody dying.
