Despite my best efforts, I’m a girl with 34928 tabs open all the time. Substitute may mean deportation of any joy found to purgatory, i.e. my “favorite” (Yes right) folder. The risk of a seven-layer chocolate cake recipe, homemade hair mask, and article on the health benefits of a nightly glass of red wine (important!) never seeing the light of day is too high.
My Instagram saves are another story. Here, there is a method to my madness. Call me Dame Dewey Decimal. I found most of mine wedding vendors, improve my French and discover new beauty tricks through long scrolling sessions.
Having all of this inspiration at my fingertips has also helped me get out of the closet rut. I have committed the crime of “hating everything in my closet” so many times that I can’t count, when I’m really just a reconfigured item or a single piece without a vibe. completely new.
