9-year-old girl targeted in attempted abduction: Regina police
Regina police are asking for the general public’s assist after the attempted abduction of a nine-year-old lady within the Uplands neighbourhood.
Police say on Friday, at roughly 12:40 p.m., a nine-year-old lady was strolling again to high school close to twelfth Avenue North and Fairview Street when she was approached from behind and grabbed by an unknown man.
The lady was capable of push away and run to high school to report the incident. She was not injured. Police say there was a purple truck close by, operating with the door open.
Police describe the suspect as white, 40 to 50 years previous, roughly six ft tall with brown-grey medium-length hair and tattoos on each arms.
They are saying the person was carrying a tank prime and soiled stained pants.
Faculties within the space have been notified and police presence has been elevated across the faculties.
Police are asking anybody with surveillance digicam footage within the Uplands group to evaluate it for something that will help within the investigation.
