Former India opener Aakash Chopra feels it Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) batter Virat kohli there will be a good game against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) as he had an extremely impressive record against them in the Indian Premier League (IPL).
CSK will take on RCB in the 22nd match of IPL 2022 at DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai on Tuesday. Chennai is not in good form, losing 4 matches in a row, while Bangalore has won 3 matches in a row.
Previewing the schedule, Chopra said that Kohli can be expected to continue to run well with the stick. Speaking on his YouTube channel, he said:
“Virat Kohli enjoyed playing against Chennai. He always scores against them. I feel he will also be among the runs today. “
He also predicted a good match for the Bangalore captain, Faf du Plessis and pointed out:
“Faf du Plessis will be playing against his old team. So far, whichever player has played against his previous team, everyone has done well. 80 runs.”
Kohli is the front-runner against CSK in IPL. In 27 rounds with the defending champions, he broke 948 runs with an attack rate of 127.25.

Although it is still early days of the competition, Bangalore has been one of the most impressive teams to date.
Chopra attributes their success to the players selected in the large auction to distribute the goods. He further elaborated:
“The players that RCB have invested in this season have paid off. Whether it was Harshal Patel, Wanindu Hasaranga, Faf du Plessis at the top of the order or DK (Dinesh Karthik) at the finish line, everyone played their part very well. This is just a phenomenon. ”
Anticipating some changes to the way the ball hits the ball, Chopra added that Mahipal Lomror could come in to support Karthik in the finisher role. Sharing his views on RCB’s batting squad, the 44-year-old said:
“Anuj Rawat hit the ball well. Faf du Plessis also looks good. He had a good point and I’m sure he will score more. Virat Kohli hit the ball beautifully. He was a bit unlucky; if otherwise he could have scored a lot more runs. Dinesh Karthik is hitting the ball very well. I think Mahipal Lomror can come on to strengthen the midfield order.”
