Aaron Donald will retire? Rams defender can call it a career after Super Bowl 56

Aaron Donald is gearing up for his second hit at a Super Bowl, and it could be his last.

According to NBC’s Rodney Harrison, the All-Pro defensive midfielder could decide to consider it a career if the Rams take down the Bengals in Super Bowl 56.

Speaking on the network’s pregnancy show, Harrison said he was told by Donald that, if the Rams finished their Super Bowl, Donald could walk away:

He’s big on heritage. He doesn’t want to be remembered as a defender who accomplished a lot personally, but never won the Super Bowl. He also told me this: If he wins the Super Bowl, he will most likely quit the game and retire.
