AC casino brawl: No charges came after scuffle inside Harrah’s in Atlantic City, New Jersey
According to a witness, the incident happened late Tuesday night while a brokerage conference was being held in town.
Minh Nguyen said he was near the food court when the violence occurred.
“There was a lot of physical violence. There was a chair being hit. Some people threw punches, there were blood-sucking punches,” Nguyen said. “We had to jump over the railing and I helped my friend down. There was physical violence inside and outside the food court.”
REALTORS Triple Play Convention and Trade Expo, which took place last week, released a statement saying the incident at Harrah’s was not related to any official TriplePlay event, adding that Harrah’s is not the convention headquarters. nor an overflow hotel for the conventional 2021.
Atlantic City police responded to the casino around 3 a.m. Wednesday, but they said no one wanted to sign the criminal complaint.
Jeff Fox has seen the video and has attended conferences in Atlantic City for decades.
He said that external entities often hold cyber parties at night, but it is unclear if any of those involved in the war were attending a conference or an outside party. However, Fox said just watching the video was not in good form.
Fox said: “Once it started, it spiraled, and then people got sucked into the action. It was really sad. When I saw that, I was a little bit disappointed. “.
One person was treated for a non-life-threatening injury.
Harrah’s Casino is owned by Caesar’s Entertainment. Action News has reached out to the parent company for comment, but we have not received a response.
