Accused spa shooter to enter second plea in Fulton County Superior Court | News


ATLANTA (CBS46) — The person accused of killing eight individuals during a shooting spree at three Cherokee County and Atlanta therapeutic massage parlors is anticipated to enter his second plea deal Tuesday.

In his first plea, gunman Robert Aaron Lengthy, 22, plead guilty for the murders of four people at Younger’s Asian Therapeutic massage in Cherokee County on March 16. Lengthy entered responsible pleas for all 23 counts within the indictment.

He was sentenced to life in jail with out parole. 

Lengthy instructed police that the assault was not racially motivated and claimed to have a “intercourse dependancy,” with authorities saying he apparently lashed out at what he noticed as sources of temptation.

He’ll now seem in Fulton County Superior Court docket on fees referring to Homicide, Home Terrorism and Aggravated Assault. 

Fulton County District Lawyer Fani Willis and her crew of prosecutors declared in late August their intent to hunt the dying penalty and pursue hate crime violations in opposition to Lengthy.
