The recovery of 1,09,345 patients in the last 24 hours brings the cumulative total to 3,48,24,706. Hence, India’s recovery rate is 95.20%.
Also during this time, there were a total of 17,87,457 exams across the country, totaling 69.90 crore.
Meanwhile, the weekly positivity rate rose to 11.83% amid a spike in cases. The daily positivity rate is 14.78%.
With the administration of more than 730,000 doses of vaccine in the past 24 hours, India’s Covid vaccination coverage has reached 155.39 crore as of this morning.
The department said more than 15.17 doses of Covid vaccine left over and unused with states and UT will be administered.
