On November 24, TVLine announced that Adrienne Bailon-Houghton is set to recur in season five of Raven’s House on Disney Channel. Actress who played Raven-Symonebully in the original series, It’s So Raven, will return to Bayside High School, but this time as principal – the same high school that Raven’s son Booker will enroll when they return to San Fransisco to care for Raven’s father.
The couple have not acted together since then Leopard Girls, and Adrienne is delighted to be joining forces once again. “I always hope for [playing Alana again], so to be able to make it happen,” Adrienne told TVLine. I have always enjoyed working with [Raven-Symoné]. We did the first Cheetah Girls movies when I was 19 and I’m 38 now, so we’ve been friends for almost 20 years. We laugh at the fact that we are playing high school students… and now we are playing parents. It’s weird! “
