Aerial_Knight’s Never Yield is set for ‘major improvements’ in the update
Aerial_Knight’s Never Yield was a popular Indie release last May, a runner with a distinct approach to storytelling and an excellent soundtrack. While we appreciate its style and premise, in In our review, we feel there are a few shortcomings that held it back.
Its creator, Neil Jones, has been following a lot of player feedback and – along with publisher HeadUp Games – has confirmed ‘Da Update’, which will be free and add all sorts of improvements; The game is also being released on mobile devices. This is a significant update and addresses some common complaints – it will add endless mode, leaderboards, even more story content and music.
A trailer is coming soon to showcase the update, but you can read the details below:
“Da Update” adds a bunch of free new game features and make major improvements based on feedback to the original release. The update includes new bonus levels, new music, a brand new endless mode, and the introduction of leaderboards to let you compete for high scores. The level and story updates aim to add flair and intrigue to the core game, including a new post-credits ending that’s meant to speed through the sci-fi version of Detroit. This idea will be smoother and more satisfying than ever. Players can also look forward to an overhauled user interface, improved graphics, new Trophies and Achievements, Xbox accessibility controller support, and hundreds of other smaller tweaks.
We’ll keep an eye on the trailer and release date.
