According to the source, Holcomb’s lawsuit was filed after California temporarily waived the statute of limitations for child sex abuse allegations.
“Teenage Bride” & Legal Guardianship
Holcomb alleges that Tyler convinced her mother to give him custody of the minor, promising that he would take better care of her. Which then allows minors to live in his home. Tyler then took advantage of an erotic relationship. Holcomb says she and Tyler were in a relationship “from 1973 until about three years later. “
This is not the first time Holcomb has publicly shared his experience with Tyler. Additionally, Tyler even detailed his relationship with Holcomb in an earlier memoir.
According to the source, Tyler wrote that he “nearly married a teenage bride”. He even mentioned getting custody of Holcomb from her parents.
Her parents love me, signed papers giving me custody, so that I can get her out of the state so she won’t get caught. I took her on a trip with me.
In the lawsuit, Holcomb alleges that Tyler “coerced and persuaded Plaintiff to believe that this was a ‘romantic affair'”. She added that she was “powerless to resist” the rock star’s “significant power, fame, and financial viability”.
How did Holcomb & Tyler meet?
Holcomb says she met Tyler after her 16th birthday when Aerosmith performed at a concert in Portland. She recalls that the year was 1973. She later said that Tyler took her back to his hotel room and “performed numerous sexual offenses against” her. Before taking her home by taxi.
Holcomb added that she and Tyler openly discussed her age.
Since then, various sexual encounters will occur between the two. An excerpt from Tyler’s memoirs shows his admission of the pair’s contrasting ages.
With my bad self being twenty-six and she’s barely old enough to drive and sexy as hell, I fell madly in love with her. She’s a cute skinny tomboy dressed up as Little Bo Peep. She is my heart’s desire, my partner in passion crime.
“I could barely survive”
Holcomb became pregnant with Tyler’s son in 1975. She was 17 years old. However, Tyler instructed her to abort the child due to an apartment fire they were both involved in.
I got lost in a rock and roll culture. In Steven’s world, it’s sex, drugs, and rock and roll, but it seems as chaotic as the world I left behind. I don’t know it yet, but I almost can’t live… I can’t believe he’s even asking me to have an abortion at this stage. He spent over an hour forcing me to have an abortion. He said I was too young to have a baby and it would have brain damage because I participated in the fire and took drugs.
After the abortion, Holcomb left Tyler and moved to Portland, where she changed her life. And buried her experience with the rock star.
She says her world was then turned upside down with the release of Tyler’s memoir, which recounts the events between the two.
