Update [Fri 9th Sep, 2022 20:00 BST] – Dispatch Games released a brief statement via Twitter. It promises a deeper response later today and also says it is working on releasing its games as planned.

If the tweet is deleted at any time, it says the following:

“Anyone asking for a refund – [email protected] We are passing as quickly as possible. There’s too much to say. We’re working on a more detailed response to come out later today, but we’re working on releasing the game. “

We’ll update the post with a detailed response once it’s published, but the tweet definitely signifies that anything else taking place at Dispatch Games; although what that really is can be anyone’s speculation at this point.

Original article [Tue 6th Sep, 2022 16:30 BST]:

In what can only be described as a veritable disaster, the unfortunate state of limited printing company Dispatch Games has clearly come to a sad and inevitable conclusion.

As marked by Seafoam Gamingwho’s been keeping an eye on the unfortunate situation, a post from the state of Tennessee indicates that Dispatch Games is no longer available and customers waiting for physical delivery of games like Game Tengoku, Radirgy Swagand Rail Sim simply won’t get the games they paid for despite Dispatch’s reassurance, most recently back in june.

Let’s recap first, though. Back in 2020, we ran a feature about Dispatch Games’ inability to fulfill pre-orders for its games and the apparent lack of communication with customers afterward. Social media and direct contact channels have been met with complete silence from the company and fans are understandably frustrated with the situation.

In the time since, Dispatch Games has made numerous attempts to effectively restart its operations, going as far as to declare “a new day” in a Twitter post, now deleted, of course, along with nearly all of its previous communications. Company promised to send digital code for those of you waiting for Game Tengoku pre-orders and it looks like some have, at least, received these as planned.

Now, however, it looks like Dispatch Games has ceased to exist entirely, having been labeled ‘inactive’ via Website of the State of Tennessee as of August 9, 2022, due to the company not paying the administrative fee. This follows a similar move by California State back in October with the similar label Dispatch Games as ‘suspended’. While the company may still exist at some small capacity, all indications are that the company has effectively ceased operations and is now a defunct organization.

So what does this mean for customers who are waiting for pre-orders or refunds? Well, unfortunately, chances are they won’t get it either. We’ve reached out to Dispatch Games for comment on the matter and will update this article with any feedback or helpful information, but the company has again been silent from at least the radio station. . June – after repeated promises, then long periods of nothing – we give no hope.

The whole ordeal proved a disaster for the company itself, but more importantly for the company’s expected customers. Hopefully, Dispatch Games can at least provide some kind of explanation and justification for its actions, or lack thereof.

Were you affected by Dispatch Games’ business? What do you think the company needs to do to get things right? Is that even possible? Let us know.
