Alcohol and NFTs: Glenfiddich x BlockBar

In partnership with BlockBar, an NFT market for luxurious wine and spirits, Glenfiddich will likely be pairing its uncommon whisky with NFT paintings for its subsequent restricted launch.

The model will likely be launching 15 limited-edition NFTS, every tagged to a bodily bottle of a 46-year-old single malt whisky. The NFT will act as proof of possession and authenticity of the bodily bottles, that are held on behalf of the customer in BlockBar’s Singapore facility.

Every bottle will likely be offered for US$18,000. Profitable patrons will obtain a creative impression of the bottle within the type of an NFT and so they can both select to carry the NFT for potential resale, or money within the NFT to obtain the bodily model of the whisky.
