It continued, “We will forever remember you as your true beacon and we will continue to shine your light and love around the world. Thank you for the incredible memories and beautiful lives we shared together.”
Holker and Boss met in 2010 on So you think you can dance, where the latter became a fan favorite. The two professional dancers became stars together on the show’s seventh season and began dating at the end of that year’s competition.
“We shared a dance at that season’s closing party So you think you can danceand we’ve been together ever since,” Boss said Person in February 2022. “No dialogue, no conversation or first outing. Literally we danced, and we held hands the next day. And we never looked back.” They married three years later.
According to his agent, Boss died by suicide on December 13. Holker also confirmed his death, writing in part, “Stephen lights up every room he walks into. He values family, friends and community above all else and leading with love and light is everything to him. He is the breadwinner of our family, the best husband and father, and an inspiration to his fans.” She added, “To say he left a legacy would be an overstatement and his positive impact will continue to be felt. I’m sure there won’t be a day that goes by that we don’t honor his memory.”
