Almond Cow Reviews 2022 — Is the Fancy Nut Milk Maker Really Worth It?

I may be one of the only Angelenos left who still enjoys cow’s milk from time to time, but while I like the classic whole milk, let’s just say it doesn’t really like me. return. I don’t claim to be lactose intolerant, but I certainly feel much better with plant-based alternatives, like almonds, cashews, and oat milk. Last month, I was scrolling through Instagram stories when I came across my friend’s love note #NotAnAd raving about a neat looking item called the Almond Cow. She explained that she invested in Cow almond milk making machine after discovering how many questionable additives and fillers go into plant-based milk — a very valid concern, in my opinion.

Of course, I was immediately drawn to this cute mini nut milk maker (you can even buy brand’s old-fashioned glass milk carton That’s just too adorable and an absolute must!) So I decided to get my hands on one and shoot it myself. Basic, Almond beef is a specialized blender designed specifically for nuts (if you’ve ever tried making nut milk at home with your blender, you probably already know that many models are not designed to grind nuts) — a lesson I learned the hard way, I fear.)

Do nut milk Fresh at home is often a rather laborious process. You have to soak your nuts overnight, blend, filter and re-bottle, but with Almond Cow you can make your own dairy-free milk with the push of a button (you still have to soak the nuts in at least four hours when using Almond Cow, but better from eight to twelve hours.)

In addition to soaking the nuts of your choice for four hours or more, Almond beef delivers fresh, additive-free nut milk literally in five minutes (and without a big mess!).

My first time using Almond beef I decided to try making almond milk, my usual nut. The milk turned out better than I expected — it was creamy, frothy, and I could control and adjust how much powder I wanted (very little). The process is simple: add your liquid ingredients (water, vanilla extract, etc.) Almond beef, add your nuts and/or dry ingredients (you can also use seeds) to the strainer basket, secure the filter basket at the top, and press the top button to mix. That’s it! Five minutes later, you’ll have about five cups of fresh milk to enjoy. Also, I was surprised (as was my mess-loving fiancé) by how easy and hassle-free it was to use, which is a big plus.

Of course, you can make not only nut milk with Almond Cow, you can also whipped cream of plant-based coffee, rice milk, soy milk, buttermilk – you can name it. I also recommend more Almond Cow’s coconut breads Add to the mix if you want your consistency to be nice and creamy with a hint of natural sweetness. Oh, and be sure to check out their website to expand the reach milk creative recipe too (the rose milk has a pastel pink color which is my favorite!).

Now, let’s get to the pricing. The base model almond cow costs $195, which certainly isn’t cheap, but if you’re a nut milk drinker most days, I think this nut milk maker is worth adding to your lineup—especially if your current blender is You cannot mix nuts. The best part is that you have complete control over what goes into your milk, so if you’re concerned about certain ingredients in your favorite brand’s formula, Almond Cow is the perfect solution. Honestly, I’m calling it now – this is what’s about to be the next big thing on TikTok and it would make a great Father or Mother’s Day gift.
