Ahead of GDC 2022 in March, one of the main highlights of the event has been prepared. The Indie Game Festival (IGF 2022) Awards are at the show, and today’s nominations highlight a plethora of excellent Indie games.
The grand prize is the Seumas McNally Grand Prize, and you can see the nominations below; some of these games are also available on the eShop.
It was also noted that Unpacking and Inscryption were the top contenders with four nominations each in different categories. Unpacking, from Witch Beam, has proven to be a huge hit with its blend of fluidity, nostalgia, and refined storytelling. Inscryption is out on PC with everyone and their grandma apparently playing it, so it gets a lot of well-deserved buzz too.
