Nearly every time I go out for a run, I have to face the fact that despite living in New York City, I still have to run on many surfaces. While I can rave about the shoes’ melted butter comfort, the support they provide on the move, or the stability of the grip, perhaps my favorite feature of the shoe is the box. toes. Considering I’ve never once considered the toe box in my review of any shoe I’ve ever worn, that makes Altra’s that much more remarkable. The toe is just a little wider than a normal sneaker, and it makes a world of difference. My toes are now able to stretch out, and what’s more, there’s no more friction from the side of the shoe as I move around.
