Outages may affect a larger number of users.

This will be the company’s third shutdown this year.

In June, users experienced brief outages on Amazon’s platforms, including Alexa and Prime Video, before services were restored. In July, the e-commerce giant experienced an online store service disruption that lasted nearly two hours and affected more than 38,000 users.
