Hot on your heels last week’s teaserAmazon Studios has released another full trailer of the upcoming sci-fi TV series Paper girl.
Adapted from Brian K. Vaughan and Cliff Chiang’s Graphic novel series 2015The eight-episode television series tells the story of four paper girls, Erin, Mac, Tiffany and KJ, who find themselves caught in a skirmish between two time-traveling factions on Halloween morning 1988. Love is transported to 2019, the girls must seek help from their own elders to find their way back home and escape the clutches of their captors.
This new trailer offers a more complete look at the series’ premise and opening scene, seen as a cross between Strange things by Project Adam with a few bits of Umbrella Academy-like weirdness and humor is everywhere.

In addition to Erin’s previously revealed old self played by Ali Wong, we also see glimpses of old versions of Tiffany in a nightclub and KJ kissing another woman in the bedroom. That’s not even mentioning time travelers in white armor chasing girls through a forest shooting laser rifles or what looks like purple fireflies gathering on the abdomen. Erin’s injuries.
