American Horror Stories, What Do We Do in the Dark, and other FX series get release dates

Summer hasn’t even started yet, but FX has announced premiere dates for eight new or returning series — like American Horror Stories and What We Do In The Shadows — and as a result, has perhaps planted a flag. top in your plans for the next few months. Below you can find a recap, launch date for FX’s upcoming blocker media – along with information on where all of these shows will air or stream.

One particularly nice surprise in the midst of the announcements is the quicker-than-expected return of vampire comedy What We Do in the Shadows, which returns for Season 4 on July 12. The season will be pretty cool. interesting and in a way. bits of a reset series. If you weren’t on the show, skip ahead to miss out on some of the main acts: At the end of Season 3, the core group of vampires pretty much split up and went their separate ways. Energy vampire Colin Robinson died and was reborn as a child, likely to be raised by Laszlo; Guillermo was tricked into visiting England with Nadja; Nandor went his own way.

Not long after, season two of the anthology American Horror Stories will premiere on July 21 on Hulu. Last year, FX announced that Season 1 was “the most successful to date of any FX series on Hulu.” As is typical with streaming platforms, it’s not clear how much bragging about its content means for total viewership. Still, American Horror Stories is a spin-off to Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk’s award-winning hit series American Horror Story, so a lot of people expect it.

  • The Old Man, starring Jeff Bridges as a former CIA agent living off the grid and John Lithgow as the FBI official tasked with tracking him down, premieres Thursday, June 16 at 10 pm on FX with the first two episodes.
  • The Bear, a comedy starring Shameless alum Jeremy Allen White as a gourmet chef who returns to Chicago to run his family’s sandwich shop, will premiere Thursday, March 10. June 23 on Hulu with all eight episodes.
  • Welcome to Wrexham, the documentary that follows Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney as they become owners of a Welsh football team, premiering Wednesday, August 24 at 10pm on FX with the first two episodes first.
  • Little Demon, an animated comedy starring Aubrey Plaza as a mother whose teenage daughter is actually the offspring of Satan, premieres Thursday, August 25 at 10 p.m. FXX with the first two episodes.
  • The Patient, starring Steve Carell as a therapist who discovers he’s treating a serial killer (Domhnall Gleeson), premieres Tuesday, August 30 on Hulu with three episodes firstly.
  • FX Pre-Order Dogs – Season 2 premieres August 3 exclusively on Hulu.
