Amplification Science, a life science diagnostics company, is on the list of Most Fundable Companies

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. Amplified Science, a life science diagnostics company affiliated with Purdue University that focuses on the accurate detection and prevention of debilitating disease risks, has been named to the list of Companies recognized the fourth largest annual funding from Pepperdine University’s Graziadio School of Business.

Amplified Science competed with more than 3,300 early-stage US companies from all 50 states. The science of amplification will be featured on Entrepreneur.com and will be featured in the magazine’s December issue. The full list of companies is available online, where visitors can vote for their three favorites through November 1.

We are delighted that Pepperdine Graziadio Business School focuses on supporting startups and providing entrepreneurs with a platform to showcase their businesses and set them up for success with investors.”

Inclusion and ranking on the Most Funded Companies list involves assessing each company’s competitive advantage, management team expertise, financial forecasting, intellectual property and market opportunity. The Most Funded Companies competition is led by Craig Everett, who earned a Ph. in finance from Purdue’s Krannert School of Management.

The science of amplifying the technology to commercialize the technology was developed by V. Jo Davisson, professor of pharmaceutical chemistry and molecular pharmacology at Purdue College of Pharmacy. Davisson is also the company’s co-founder and chief scientific officer. The company licenses the technology through the Purdue Research Foundation’s Office of Technology Commercialization. Amplification Science is located in West Lafayette’s Purdue Research Park.
