Andor’s incredible Star Wars EDM song episode 7 is finally removed
On October 21, 2022, the song of the year was finally removed. Despite industry forecasts, the track doesn’t come from famous female pop singers Carly Rae Jepsen or Taylor Swift; instead, the sheer bang of a club track comes from a Nicholas Britellion the soundtrack for Disney Plus’ Star Wars prequel Andor.
“Niamos! (Morlana Club Mix)” is a barn incinerator, if the barn can burn within one minute 41 seconds. Britll’s song debuts in episode 7 of Andor like Cassian – secret with instantly the iconic nickname of Keef Girgo – roam the boardwalk on the new beach-filled planet of Niamos. The song was an instant hit, club combo type Star Wars not assembled yet in a minutecaptures the deeply emotional, insecure, and ambiguous feelings about Cassian’s current situation at Space Florida Beach while still flowing into the better story.
(This is the care and consideration one would expect from the man who made some of the most astonishing points of his time, including Heir, Moonlight, If Beale Street could talk, and Underground Railroad.)
Sorry “Monster Mash” and “Werewolf Bar Mitzvah, ”But this is the song of the season, and possibly the rest of the year. I suspect that many Thanksgiving dinners will be backgrounded by pulsating Brittell tunes and discordant, piercing tunes, once the internet compels a four-hour loop on this for families playing in the background. Without a doubt, Mariah Carey’s Christmas song will compete for airtime with Britell’s song on radio stations next December. The New Year’s Eve drop should be meticulously timed for Morlana Club Mix.
We might have a hard time selling popular culture on this. Renaissance launch this year, of course; “Niamos!” there will be stiff competition at the Grammys, if the organizers of that awards finally put some real respect into Beyoncé’s name and for her artist do. And not everyone is watching Andor but, even though they must be. But with five episodes set to air, including a season finale set to drop just before Thanksgiving, there’s plenty of time for Britell to blow up the roof with another EDM track – and for “Niamos! (Morlana Club Mix)” to dominate all of our Spotify bundles before the end of the year.
