Anker power bank recalled due to fire risk
Anker has issued a recall notice of all Anker 535 power banks (PowerCore 20K), warning people of the potential fire hazard.
The Chinese electronics maker said affected products, identified by model number A1366, could overheat and pose a fire safety risk.
According to the announcement, the company is currently working with local government agencies around the world to facilitate the recall.
Anker urges customers to verify their battery model number is listed on the bottom of the device. If your device is affected, discontinue use immediately and dispose of it at a lithium battery receiving facility instead of in the trash.
If you have a recalled device, you can also request a refund online through Anker’s website.
