Chelsea and Bayern Munich are still far apart over agreeing compensation for Anthony Barry to join Thomas Tuchel’s coaching staff.
Bayern have approached Chelsea about hiring their assistant coach after Tuchel expressed interest in including him in their new squad.
Chelsea have made clear their views and expectations with Bayern regarding Barry’s release from his contract, and nothing has yet been agreed between the clubs.

Chelsea have a list of potential replacements should he end up leaving for the Bundesliga champions.
Chelsea players return to training on Tuesday from international duty ahead of Saturday’s clash with Aston Villa at Stamford Bridge.
Barry is a deep thinking coach who has also worked with Robert Martinez and the Belgium national team, the Republic of Ireland team under Stephen Kenny and Paul Cook at Wigan Athletic before joining Chelsea in 2020 .
