ANTI-MONTANA ANTI-MONTANA INDOOR BABY GAME ON ESPN2
SACRAMENTO, California – Sacramento State’s October 22 soccer game against Montana at Hornet Stadium has been selected to air on ESPN2, it was announced today. The game, which will mark Hornet’s first appearance on the ESPN linear network, will begin at 8 p.m. PT.
The Big Sky Conference partnered with ESPN prior to the start of the 2021 season in a deal that places all conference events on ESPN+ and allows the broadcast of two football games per year on the ESPN network. Last season, ESPNU broadcast Montana in Eastern Washington as well as Montana State in Weber State. The UC Davis game at Montana State this year on October 1 will also air on ESPNU or ESPN2.
The Hornets vs Montana game will pit two FCS top 10 ranked teams ahead of the season. Sacramento State beat Griz, 28-21, last season in Missoula en route to the Big Sky title with an undefeated record.
Sacramento State begins the 2022 season at home on September 3 against Utah Tech. Season ticket packages are currently on sale by calling 916-278-2222.
