Anya Taylor-Pleasure didn’t come to play on the 2021 CFDA Awards.
The Queen’s Gambit actress, 25, stepped onto the purple carpet carrying a purple ensemble with a press release headpiece that has Gen Z written throughout it. Anya wore a wild leopard-print hat, which included a web to partially cover her face, together with matching animal-print gloves.
Her Oscar de la Renta costume featured a retro belted waist, plunging neckline and peplum element that positively made her stand out.
Anya is the primary ever recipient of the CFDA’s Face of the Yr award. The council introduced the glory on Oct. 19, writing on Instagram that the 25-year-old actress’ “on-screen presence is so highly effective that she has transcended into the style and wonder realm, gracing numerous nationwide and worldwide magazines,” like Elle and Vainness Honest.
In different phrases, Anya is a power to be reckoned with, whether or not it is on the massive display screen or the duvet of style’s largest magazines.
