Features of iOS 16

Lock screen: You’ll get brand new ways to personalize your lock screen. Passwords: Passwords replace passwords with an easier and more secure login method. Passwords never leave your device and are specific to the site you created them on, making them virtually impossible to phish. You’ll be able to sign in to websites or apps on other devices, including non-Apple devices, with your saved password by scanning the QR code with your iPhone or iPad and using Face ID or Touch ID for authentication. Plus, Passkey is encrypted end-to-end and syncs across your Apple devices via iCloud Keychain.

Messages: You can now edit a recently sent message or cancel a recent message entirely. And you can mark a message as unread if you can’t reply right now and want to come back to it later.
