Apple Watch Series May 8 Sensing body temperature, if the algorithm supports it: Ming-Chi Kuo

The Apple Watch Series 8, slated to launch later this year, has received a lot of buzz around its upcoming features. Previous reports have hinted that Apple is working on adding a body temperature feature to this series of products. The rumor was first settled by Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, who suggested that Apple might not include a body temperature feature in the Watch Series 8. He added that the smartwatch cannot calculate core temperature measurements with its hardware alone. Therefore, the smartwatch needs to have an excellent algorithm to include the temperature sensing feature.

Samsung, in Opinion of Kuo, were facing a similar challenge, making it difficult for them to introduce the feature. Kuo also refuted rumors suggesting support for measuring body temperature in this year’s Samsung Galaxy Watch 5.

Kuo’s tweet contradicted report Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman shared that while the Cupertino-based company could add support for checking blood glucose levels and blood pressure, Apple won’t be able to add a body temperature feature to the Apple Watch Series 8.
