36-time Serie A champions, Juventus have had a disappointing start to the 2022-23 campaign. The Bianconeri have only two wins in seven games this season, dropping points in the remaining five (4 draws, 1 defeat). Having won only 10 points after seven matches, the Old Lady is currently in eighth place, seven points behind leaders Napoli.
Arsenal, on the other hand, are on the opposite side. Surpassing expectations, they have won six of their seven Premier League matches so far (one loss), rising to the top of the league. According to the aforementioned source, Mikel Arteta wants to boost his team’s momentum by bringing two highly-rated Juventus players, Vlahovic and Miretti, to the club.
Arteta is said to be pushing the club hierarchy to sign both players in the same window. The campaign could see north Londoners offer a whopping €115 million to Juventus, an amount they may struggle to turn down.
The Serbian striker, who signed from Fiorentina for a fee of 81.6 million euros in January, has scored four goals in six Serie A games this season. Midfielder Miretti, who was included in Juve’s first team at the end of the 2021-22 season, appeared in seven Serie A matches in the 2022-23 season, winning one assist.
Gabriel Jesus’ form can prevent Arsenal from switching to Juventus’ Dusan Vlahovic
Gabriel Jesus has been revealed to Arsenal since moving from Manchester City earlier this summer. He scored goals, created chances, and understood his teammates very well. The Brazilian striker has appeared in seven Premier League matches for the north London side so far, scoring four goals and providing three assists.
If he continues to perform the way he has so far, Arsenal are unlikely to disrupt the balance of the team by moving to Juve’s Vlahovic. In addition, they also have Edward Nketiah in their ranks, who is more likely to add to the Brazil international when the time comes.
