B.C. man who murdered wife of 31 days is denied parole



In 1997, James Shortreed killed his spouse of 1 month with a hammer and stuffed her into the freezer. He was convicted of second diploma homicide and sentenced to life. Iris McNeil’s household say she was a CBSA officer who had no clue about Shortreed’s legal previous involving a earlier spouse. They vow to object to any additional makes an attempt at parole as McNeil’s niece says they imagine he’s a menace to all girls. Rumina Daya stories.
