‘Batgirl’ Adds Rebecca Front, Corey Johnson, and Ethan Kai to Cast – The Hollywood Reporter

Rebecca Front, Corey Johnson and Ethan Kai have joined the cast of Bat girl, Warner Bros. and DC Film featuring HBO Max is currently in production in London.

Leslie Grace is finalizing production, playing Barbara Gordon, the DC heroine of the Batman family and the daughter of Commissioner Jim Gordon.

JK Simmons will return as Commissioner Gordon from Alliance justice while Michael Keaton returns for several iterations of Bruce Wayne/Batman. Brendan Fraser is also in the cast and will play the villain.

Plot details are being kept under wraps, and no character descriptions for the trio have been revealed.

Written by Christina Hodson, Ugly for life Directors Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah will direct the film. Kristin Burr (Cruella) is in production.

Front is a veteran BAFTA award-winning actress who most recently appeared alongside Hugh Laurie in the sci-fi film. 5 Avenue as well as historical dramas Poldark and comedy Others.

Johnson has appeared in supporting roles in dozens of shows and movies, including Bourne franchise and last year appeared in the TV series Jodie Foster Mauritania. He got a role in the long-delayed Sony-Marvel movie, Morbius.

Kai is a screen and stage actor who is a regular on British soap Emmerdale Farm and appeared on shows like New Year’s Eve Killing and London Kills.

No release date has been set for Bat girl.
