The fans will be eager to witness a hat-trick of wins for India against Lanka in the World Cups. India won the 2011 (final) and 2019 editions by six and seven wickets, respectively.

Overall, Team India are yet to lose against Sri Lanka in their last five World Cup matches. The Islanders won their last ODI game against India (second-string team) by three wickets in July 2021.

How India and Sri Lanka have fared in 2023 World Cup so far?
